Thanks to Mom Central and Aquafina, I was chosen to participate as an Aquafina FlavorSplash Mom Ambassador! (I have been drinking Aquafina for years, so this is a perfect opportunity to share with you this wonderful program).
The program runs for 6 weeks and during this time period I will be sharing with you information about the different flavors of Aquafina and the many perks of being an Aquafina FlavorSplash Mom Ambassor like parties, coupons, goodies and more!
Each week I will be sent a 6-pack of Aquafina FlavorSplash water and sharing what my family and I think. I will also post recipes that coincide with the flavor of the week as well as tweeting and sharing Facebook links.
This week we received Wild Berry FlavorSplash water and as soon as I could get them out of the box my boys were grabbing for them. I would love to instill the importance of drinking water to my boys since of course they would rather drink juice and the occasional soda we allow. They both cracked one open, as did I, and they loved it, said it was better than traditional juice, and by the next day they were all gone. I did manage to drink one bottle and was surprised at how much I liked it as well. I am not big on flavored water but have been trying to change up my water routine.
I drink a lot of water, at least 64 ounces a day, so having the flavored water helps immensely in getting in all of the water I need to in a day. I am also happy that the boys like it and are now even asking for it.
As far as a recipe for Wild Berries, it’s not a recipe per say but a recommendation to just add them to the food you already eat. I buy the frozen wild berries you see int he market and just add them (thawed) to cereal and yogurt. I am definitely not a huge fruit eater so adding them helps me get my daily recommendation in.
