I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

It’s that time of year, time for pool parties, cookouts and summer fun! This coming weekend, we are kicking off the Summer season with a family get together where we will enjoy great food and great desserts. It means a lot to me to spend as much time with my family as possible since we are all so super busy.

We do a lot of things in the Summer to stay connected as a family. One of our favorite things to do that doesn’t cost a dime, is catch fireflies or as we call them, lightening bugs.  We make it a game to see how many each of us can catch and then release them when we are done.

We also spend many nights in the pool “night swimming” and when we aren’t swimming we are spending time talking and playing games in the yard or talking non-stop on the deck. You don’t need a ton of money to so any of these things and the rewards are endless.
