There, I’ve said it, I HATE printable, online, internet coupons! I long for the days of getting my coupons the old-fashioned way, in the Sunday paper. Yes, they are still there, but more and more companies are going the printable route and offering fabulous savings that I often miss out on because I don’t want to print them.

Why such a disdain for printable coupons? Let me tell you my two main reasons….

  1. I don’t have the money to buy all of the ink it takes to print them out at home, not to mention the cost of printer paper isn’t cheap.
  2. I hate feeling like a criminal when I try to redeem them at the store and the overly smug cashier sneers and states loudly enough for the whole store to hear “WE DO NOT ACCEPT INTERNET COUPONS!” You’d think I was trying to use counterfeit money or something, geesh!

Now I know that plenty of you like printable coupons and belong to various sites that offer them. I will even continue to post the ones that I find, mainly because I want to pass the savings on and with no other option, I kind of feel obligated.

You can also check out the 1,000’s of coupon blogs that,  bless their souls,  do all of those coupon match-up’s for you so you can combine sales and coupons to get an even better deal.

For now, I will continue to clip my coupons from the paper and be free of the fear of feeling like I am breaking the law trying to redeem those darn “internet coupons!” 😉
