The countdown to Holiday Shopping has begun! Although many of us don’t start shopping, decorating and celebrating until after Thanksgiving, this is a rule in our home, there are a few holiday gifts that you need to start sooner rather than later, like those BIG (or small) items on Layaway.

1.) The cat demolished your Christmas tree last year, or your toddler, you get the gist. Let’s just say you need a new one. Either way, you need a new tree, or some new decorations to spruce (no pun intended) things up. Pick up a pre-lit tree (cause who want to mess with a string of tangled lights?), LED lights, wreaths, ornaments, and village houses now and pay them off in time for decking those halls!
2.) Your gift list has grown thanks to all those new friends you made because you are just so awesome. Maybe all your friends or family members went through some kind of baby boom and now you have brand new recipients to buy for. Super long gift lists call for Layaway. Fill that cart to the brim and roll it over to the Layaway counter. Now you can check everyone off your list and not have to worry about missing someone.
3.) Money is scarce this year, many of us our watching out spending habits and can’t afford to plop down a ton of money all at once. This is where Layaway is the perfect solution. Not only will you avoid “wallet shock,” you’ll keep your pre-holiday peace of mind.
Whether you have one or 100 items, @Kmart makes it easy. You can Layaway almost everything on your list without paying a service fee through 11/23, because we all hate that dreaded service fee, right? Plus, you can pay in store, online or using a mobile phone. Can’t get any easier than that! Then eight or 12 weeks later (depending on your contract) jingle on over to pick up your items and you’re good to go! Bonus: After you figure out how easy it is, you can Layaway all year round at Kmart.
