Holiday Gift Guide: Gyro Bowl Review
Like many of you, I love As Seen on TV products and have purchased one or two in my lifetime. When I saw the Gyro Bowl, of course it was another product I wanted to try.
The Gyro Bowl is BPA-free, virtually indestructible kids bowl that rotates 360 degrees and promises no spills. The Gyro bowl is pretty sturdy and comes with a snap on lid.
Once we got the product delivered to our home, I put it to the test and had my son test it out with a variety of foods. Just a note, the bowl is not meant for liquids, so of course we didn’t try to fill it with cereal and milk, although you probably could if your child was sitting at the table.
Instead, we filled it with dry cereal and then my son put it to the test by grabbing it by the handle and walking through the house. Not one piece came out while doing this. Next we tried pretzels and this time he ran through the house and we did lose one pretzel, but that was to be expected, it was moving at a really fast rate, so one was not a big deal.
For the most part, if your child is simply carrying it with regular swinging of the arms motion, the food stays inside the bowl, but if it is slung around it will lose some of the contents. I liked it regardless, it’s an inventive product and great for little children and even just for storing some items around the house.
