Thanks to Best Buy for sponsoring this conversation. As always, all opinions are my own.

In this day and age of technology we have so many devices, we have TV, phones, cable, internet and so on. We also watch a lot of our favorite shows on various devices in various ways. I remember when we decided to get rid of our home phone in favor of our cell phones because it saved us money and it just made sense.

Now, you can get rid of your cable because Google Chromecast allows you to still watch all of your favorite cable shows, plus the ability to stream from your phone to TV. All you need to do is plug in your Chromecast into the HDMI port on your TV to power and stream your favorite entertainment right from your phone with just a tap. Better yet, you can still use your phone while doing this.

Love Netflix, HBO Now, and Hulu? NO problem, Chromecast works with all of your favorite apps. In fact, it works with more than 2000 apps so no need to worry that you will miss your favorite shows. Fun fact: You can work your Chromecast with only your voice. All you need to do is say which show you would like to watch from apps that are compatible. You can even control the volume, rewind if you need to and more. This is truly hands-free TV viewing.

Google Chromecast has built-in 802.11ac Wi-Fi connects to the Internet through your wireless home network (*wireless router required and sold separately). It also easily connects to high-definition televisions with HDMI connectivity. You will need a subscription to view some content and Google Home, Chromecast, and compatible content are required to cast to a TV using Google Home.
