If you have children who are fans of the Disney Junior I am pretty sure you know who Singer/Songwriter Genevieve Goings is. Genevieve is the singing hip-hop train conductor on Choo Choo Soul on Disney Junior.
Goings is releasing the first single from her upcoming solo album “Do You Know?” called “My Telephone Number Is” today, April 22. The full album is scheduled for release on June 3, 2014. The album focuses on teaching pre-school FUN-damentals in her funky, cool, kid-friendly style.
I had the opportunity to preview two songs and loved them. I found myself singing them in my head, which is an awesome attribute, if I am singing the song in my head, then children will always be singing it. This is great because the songs have great messages for kids to remember, therefore a catchy song helps relay the message.

The “Do You Know?” album is a new presentation path for learning for young children ages 2-7 years old. It features songs and videos aimed at helping preschoolers learn their phone number, telling time, putting themselves to bed, and the more personal things like hygiene and dealing with potty training in a dignified manner.
