I was sent a few Garden Lites products to try, and since they are also gluten-free, I had no issues in eating my vegetables.
Blueberry Waffles – Vegetable Blend (Butternut Squash & Carrots), Water, Brown Rice Flour, Potato Starch, White Rice Flour, Canola Oil and/or Sunflower Oil, Eggs, Sugar, Sunflower Lecithin, Baking Powder, Blueberries and Blackberries, Natural Flavor, Salt, Guar Gum.
I really loved these, they were light and fluffy and even though they are made with Butternut Squash & Carrots there isn’t even a hint of those flavors in the waffles. They tasted like regular blueberry waffles. I added a ton of fruit to mine and they were delicious.
Chocolate Muffin – Zucchini, carrot, egg whites, sugar, gluten free flour blend, whole eggs, cocoa powder, semi-sweet chocolate chips, vanilla extract, baking powder, canola oil, soluble corn fiber, salt.
These were my favorite out of everything sent because of the chocolate. I don’t get chocolate cravings very often but when I do I need something super chocolatey, rich and decadent and these muffins hit the spot! All you need to do is pop them in the microwave for 30 secs, or if you can wait, defrost them for a few hours, then enjoy! I enjoy them as a dessert with my coffee after dinner. So good! Again, you don’t taste the veggies at all so they are the perfect treat for those picky little ones.
Blueberry Oat Muffin – Zucchini, Gluten-free flour blend, egg whites. sugar whole eggs, Blueberries, certified gluten free oats, dried blueberries, carrot, soluble corn fiber, baking powder, canola oil, blueberry flakes, natural blueberry flavor, salt.
I love blueberries, and I love muffins, so this was perfect for me in the morning. The aroma of blueberries is amazing, and as you can see, there are real blueberries in there! The muffins take just 30 seconds in the microwave and you have an easy and delicious breakfast!
Super Food Veggie Cakes – Vegetable blend (carrot, cauliflower, broccoli, kale, onion, red bell pepper, zucchini), brown rice, egg whites, whole eggs, canola oil, corn starch, spice mix, sugar, salt, garlic powder, potassium sorbate, black pepper.
Last but certainly not least, the Super Food Veggie cakes were next. If you are looking for something savory to add to your dinner as a side, this is your product. The cakes are moist and take only 30 seconds in the microwave just like the muffins. As you can see, you can see all of the delicious veggies inside and yes, with this one, you can taste them and they are delicious. These will be great for when I meal prep since they are the perfect side portion and yes, also gluten-free.
