Every day I get another add via Twitter or an email wanting a link to another freebie blog. They are literally thousand of sites that offer free samples, some good, some not so good. I am by no means including mine in the “good” or the “bad” category, that is up to the reader to decide in my opinion.
In the almost year (April 23rd Free Sample Momma went up) I have been blogging about freebies I have learned a lot of things about this little frugal world. Competition is fierce and people get protective, fiercely. I have been blacklisted, ignored, praised, copied (word for word) and thanked all without explanation and you know what, that is all fine by me, really. The information is “out there” for everyone to see and post about and “share” with others. No one site gets the scoop first. As long as people aren’t taking my personal stories and pictures, which has happened, then I say “go for it!”
The internet is a huge place and if I am not your cup of tea, just pop on over to Google and find another site that suits your fancy. I won’t mind, well maybe a little, I won’t lie 😉
I think that what people/website owners need to understand is that all of the freebie/frugal bloggers have something unique to bring to the table. There IS room for all of us.
