Easy Baked Scotch Eggs
You will need:
- 6 hard boiled eggs
- 1.3 pounds of ground pork sausage (I used Italian)
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic (you could also use minced onion)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions:
Heat oven to 400°F.
Prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
In large bowl, mix pork sausage, garlic, salt and pepper. Shape into 6 equal patties.
Place egg on sausage patty and shape sausage around egg until fully covered.
Bake 35 minutes or until sausage is thoroughly cooked (no longer pink).
Wow, these look so delicious and easy to make. My kids would love to see a surprise in their dinner. I will have to try this!
