Spring is here, finally, and like millions of others, I started my Spring cleaning. That means lots of moving things to get behind them, climbing to dust, and basically working up a sweat. It’s times like these that I would love to have a standing fan that just cools not only me but the entire room.

Today was kind of cool temp wise but soon, the dreaded heat will be here and I am not about that at all. I already sleep with two fans on now, and in the Summer I use three! We definitely love a fan in this home and have one for all of the windows. Because our house is older, certain rooms get hotter than others, so fans are a must!

Dreo Pilot Max

I was sent the Dreo Pilot Max Tower Fan to test out and review, so of course, I was totally excited to add another fan to my arsenal. We also don’t have a tower fan so I thought it would be fun to review and see how this one differs from all of our others.

Dreo Pilot Max

The box arrived with everything we needed to assemble the fan. The overall weight while inside the box wasn’t very heavy at all, so that boded well for when it was out and assembled. The box included the fan, the base, a remote, a power supply, a quick start guide, and an instruction booklet (not shown).

To put the base together all you have to do is unscrew the red cap, then place the two sides of the base together and screw the red cap back on, super easy. After that, it’s ready to go!

There are buttons on the top of the fan and you can also use the remote. I love a remote with a product, I think everything like this needs a remote! The screen in the front is a bright LED so you can see the display whether it is light out or dark. That comes in handy definitely if you use it in your bedroom so you can quickly see the mode and speed.

The Dreo Pilot Max Oscillating Fan circulates 120 degrees at high speeds as fast as 26 ft/s and even with that speed, it’s super quiet. The Dreo tower fan brushless DC motor winds you down with its ultra-quiet acoustic engineering. With 25dB noise level, quieter than a whisper. As you can see by the video, it’s pretty powerful, and the air it gives off is amazing!

Key Features:

  • New fine-tuned impeller wheel for increased air flow
  • Hypercooling 26 ft./s wind speeds
  • Brushless DC motor
  • Customizable 120 degree oscillation
  • 25 dB hyper quiet fan noise
  • LED Screen to show modes and speed

There are 4 different modes:

  • Auto Mode: Fan speed adapts to the ambient temperature.
  • Normal Mode: Fan runs at a constant speed
  • Natural Mode: Fan runs at alternating speeds
  • Sleep Mode: Fan decreases every 30 minutes.

There are 12-speed settings, customizable oscillation angles (30°/60°/90°/120°). This is a great feature since it allows you to customize how the fan works to suit your particular needs. When it comes time to clean the Dreo Pilot Max, just remove the rear grill and wipe clean.
