Replaces Nearly Every Pan In The Kitchen With 14 Different Cooking Functions!
As you know, I am a fan of the Copper Chef line of cookware. I haven’t found one that I don’t love and continue to use on a daily basis. When I was asked to review The Copper Chef Wonder Cooker, of course, I was all for it. This one was intriguing though, 14 different cooking functions? Why yes, I would like to try that.
One thing that I really dislike about being someone who likes to cook is the tons of cookware that I have amassed. I have so many pots and pans for this and that, that I have honestly run out of room. Reading that the Wonder Cooker offers 14 different functions made me dream that maybe, just maybe, I could get rid of some of this clutter.
The package I received came with the following:
The non-stick Shallow Roasting pan
The non-stick Deep Roasting Pan
Mesh Crisping Basket
Recipe Book with over 25 recipes created for the Wonder Cooker by Eric Theiss (You can find a few here)
Cook & Look Glass Lid with built-in Oil Infuser – <—— this is so cool!
Two Stainless Steel Deep Fry Baskets
Wondering just what the Wonder Cooker does? Well, it replaces your deep or shallow roasting pan, crockpot, double roaster, bakeware pan, casserole pan, deep fryer, steamer, crisper, slow cooker, electric skillet, electric grill, chafing serving dish, and even your grill pan. Also, because it’s from Copper Chef and made with the advanced Cerami-Tech non-stick coating, you don’t have to add more fat to your dish. As long as you use nonmetallic utensils made of wood, plastic, silicone, or bamboo you will preserve the life of your cookware.
We decided to make one of our favorite meals; a beef roast with potatoes and carrots to test it out. What I loved about using the Wonder Cooker was the fact that I could do everything in this one pot. I browned the roast in the deep roasting pan on top of the stove, then added in my carrots and potatoes, seasoning, etc. Popped on the lid and in the oven it went.
It took a few hours more than usual, but boy was it worth the wait! The roast was fall-apart tender and the potatoes felt like butter melting in your mouth! Wow! I can’t wait to use the Wonder Cooker during the holidays!
Cleanup was a breeze. Normally, in my old roasting pan I would be over the sink with scrubbers trying to get all the baked-on mess off, but with this I cookware I barely had anything to clean. Just a little soap and warm water and I was done and the pot was sparkling! Oh, and before I forget, the Wonder Cooker is super light. I know, it looks like it would be heavy and cumbersome, but it’s not at all. That was the first thing I noticed when picking it up, it is so light! Makes it great when getting it out of the oven or if you are serving it in the pot, which you can totally do since I think the look of the pan is appealing.
Just as I suspected, this pan is just as amazing as my other Copper Chef products and I highly recommend the Wonder Cooker if you love to cook, heck, even if you don’t, you will use this pan once and fall in love with cooking, I promise.
