Today we celebrated Cinco de Mayo with Taco night! We made dinner using Jennie-O’s Lean Taco Seasoned Ground Turkey. This product is pre-seasoned, contains 70% less fat than regular ground beef, and is gluten-free.
I made some simple taco’s using the Jennie-O lean Taco Seasoned ground turkey. I started by cooking the ground turkey which took about 16 minutes, so super quick and as you can see, the seasoning makes its own little sauce, so no need to add anything else at all.
While the meat was cooking, I chopped up some tomatoes, grabbed some Wholly Guacamole and some salsa verde and I was good to go. I left out the cheese because of diet issues, but it didn’t harm the over all taste, it was just as awesome without it.
I really enjoyed the Taco Seasoned Ground Turkey, it was mild and not overpowering and cooked up in not time. It is the perfect product for busy parents who want to save some time in the kitchen.
