Thanks to DreamWorks for sending me the free DreamWorks The Spooky Tale of Captain Underpants Hack-A-Ween DIY Mailer. We had a lot of fun creating our own Captain Underpants pumpkin!
In celebration of The Spooky Tale of Captain Underpants Hack-A-Ween coming to Netflix on October 8th, I wanted to include the instructions on how you could make your very own Captain Underpants pumpkin. It was super easy to make, check it out!
YOU WILL NEED
- Pumpkin
- Paint Brushes
- White Paint
- Black Paint
- Red Fabric Tighty-Whities
STEP 1
Attach tighty-whities to the pumpkin, tighten any slack with a rubber-band or safety pin in the back.
STEP 2
Cut the red fabric into cape-shape and tie around the pumpkin. *Supervise little ones.
STEP 3
Lightly draw eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth, and ears with a pencil on the pumpkin. (I painted this part, but little ones will want to use a pencil first).
STEP 4
Paint over the pencil marks with the black and white paint, then let dry.
