2013 Holiday Gift Guide: Bop It! Tetris from Hasbro

I have always loved video games, and ever since I played my friends Atari system I was hooked!

So when Hasbro presented me the opportunity to review the BopIt! Tetris game I was super excited, not only for myself, but for my son, who loves all of the various Bop It! games.  He is better at them than I am, that’s for sure, and this version is very unique!

The Bop It! Tetris game works like this, you slam or spin to turn it on, then adjust the volume as you like – blasting, loud, medium, quiet, or silent. The voice is the same hilarious voice that you hear with all of the Bop It! devices, so you know you will be laughing at most of the comments.

Once the game starts, the squares will light up on both sides and you have to align the shape with the other side, then slam into place. There is no need to worry about how hard you slam it, because this game can take the heat.

Just like in other versions you also get a challenge round. My son loves this part and reached it the second time he played. It does take a minute or so to get used to playing, then once you got it down, you will become super addicted to beating your own score.

Bop It! Tetris is recommended for ages 8 and up, and retails for around $24.99.

This would make an awesome gift for children, teens and adults.
