PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Ben 10 Omniverse 2 is the latest installment in the top-selling global interactive franchise from D3Publisher and Cartoon Network Enterprises that sets players off on an all-new adventure with Ben and his Omnitrix-powered alien forms as he battles against a new galactic threat, the Incurseans. Heading to Earth with his partner Azmuth, creator of the Omnitrix by his side, the two venture into the Incursean’s intergalactic warship to try and thwart Emperor Mileous. Players will face brand new challenges including chase and escape sequences, as well as an onslaught of battles against the forces of evil creating the most dynamic Ben 10 game to date.
I have a family of gamers, from my husband down to my two boys, so video games are a big deal in our house. Now that the holidays are coming, I get the pleasure of learning about all of the latest games via my gamers.
We were sent Ben 10 Omniverse 2 for the PS2 and let me tell you, you would have thought it was Christmas already, my boys went nuts. According to them, this game RULES!
Featuring an all new storyline; Fight against the Incurseans created by the writers of Cartoon Network’s action-packed TV show. You can of course play as Ben, to battle the vicious enemies in a multiplayer co-op brawler mode. This went over well with the boys, as did the new alien forms. There are 10 alien forms on the console version and 17 on Nintendo 3DS, including Big Chill, Bullfrag, Rath, Eatle, and more, each with their own role in combat and platforming.
Players can store their favorite aliens by size and speed and select them on the fly as needed. This was also something the boys loved, as I heard them yelling out which one they were gonna select.
I watched them as they played and it really seemed like a fun game, not too much violence, and what there was mild. They really enjoyed it, and have been playing every night, together, which is a feat in itself 🙂
