“The Beatrix Girls are a new line of Pop-Star dolls fueled by original music. The Beatrix Girls are poised to empower and inspire young girls throughout the country through their music, fashion and goal-oriented lifestyle. With fully developed personalities, The Beatrix Girls band members Brayden, Ainsley, Lark and Chantal live and interact in the human world—producing real music, real hits, and real fans. Kids can collect their music, join their fan club, and vicariously live the fantasy of being a pop-star through play.”
I love dolls, still at 43 years old I am a sucker for a cute doll and have to have it for my collection. The Beatrix Girls Pop-Star dolls are no exception. When I was asked to choose one to review I went right for Brayden, the one with the gorgeous purple hair.
When you hear lead guitar wailing above The Beatrix Girls vocals, that’s me – Brayden I’m the lead. And I’m the leader, writing most of the band’s songs. I write about music and fun and the world we all live in. Stuff that matters to me. Like my BFFs, the Beatrix Girls. Being a pop-star with your best friends is the super-coolest thing in the world!
Isn’t she pretty? As you can see by the picture, the doll itself is quite large, 12″ tall in fact and comes in a hard plastic package which is perfect for displaying. Her arms are bendable, so your doll fan can place her in some fabulous pop star poses. The doll also comes with a bonus VIP pass so you can enter contests and download music and videos for free on the Beatrix Girls website!
Along with Brayden, you can also purchase her friends and fellow Pop Stars;
You know that bash and crash on The Beatrix Girls tunes? That’s me, banging on the drums. The rest of the time I am sweet as cherry pie and just as quiet as a church mouse. I love playing drums with my chums, The Beatrix Girls – I can’t believe it’s my job!
Those low notes you hear on a tune by The Beatrix Girls – that’s me. I like bass because it shakes the ground and everybody feels it. When I’m not thumping the strings I go extreme – sports I mean. Skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding. You name it, I’m on it. But my first love is the Beatrix Girls. Making music with your best buddies is the bomb!
Bonjour! That’s how I say hello in my native Canada. I am the keyboard player with The Beatrix Girls. They say I am mellow and level headed but every now and then I get – how do you say? – “bent out of shape.” Still, I absolutely positively LOVE playing with The Beatrix Girls… even though they drive me crazy sometimes.
The Beatrix Girls are available at TOYS R US stores nationwide and online, select Justice stores, Walmart.com and Amazon.com. MSRP: $19.99 and up (Each Doll)
