The Virtual Explorer Space Expedition comes with a Star Planetarium, and explorer activity guide, 3D interactive space models (cards) and virtual reality goggles and app.
This was easy to set up and super fun to use. All you do is add the batteries for the light wand and for the night light feature and you are good to go. It is also easy to take care of by cleaning the Star Sphere clean with a soft cloth and quality anti-static cleaner/polish.
I love that they provide you with a replacement bulb because it’s never fun to love a toy so much then a something like a bulb goes out. If you have used the replacement and need another, just take it to the nearest electronic retailers.
Once you are set up you are ready to explore. To enhance the experience you will need to download the Virtual Explorer free app on your smartphone and you also have the option to download an audio tour on Unclemilton.com Once you have the app downloaded you are ready to use your phone and the Virtual reality goggles.
Follow the activity guide, find a constellation, then a matching card and scan the card using the app and goggles. You will then embark on a virtual reality Space Mission and it is amazing! Both of my boys and my husband had a blast with this.
The cool part, when you are done playing you can use the planetarium as a night light!
