In my house we love the obscure, the strange, the super funny, and the things that make you go hmm. We are definitely pop culture geeks if you will. Since I was a little girl I have liked things that most girls didn’t. For this reason, and for the reasons that I now have a family of geeks I was excited to review FanMail.
FanMail is a monthly subscription box for lady geeks, by lady geeks. They send out monthly themed boxes that are a total surprise as to what is inside. Of course, this sounded like something I would definitely be into so I had them send me a box. The only thing they asked before sending the box was what size t-shirt I took, that’s it, so besides the tee everything else wold be a total surprise, and really, so would the tee since I had no clue what would be on it.
Each box has the promise that is may contain an exclusive tee, a comic, jewelry, autographs, stationary, fan-created products and other fun and unique products that a lady geek would love and appreciate.
My box arrived as a plain white unassuming box with the FanMail logo on top in purple. The theme was “Toon Time” so I knew right off the bat that I was going to love what they sent.

All of it was amazing, so amazing that my both of my son’s and step-daughter also loved it. My step-daughter grabbed the Lumberjanes comic and the boys each grabbed a button or two. I thought it was cool that they knew what each item was and where it was from. I told you, I live in a house full of geeks.
I have to say that my favorite items were the Baymax shirt and the Puppycat, but everything I received was amazing!
What is unique about FanMail, besides the collectable items they send, is the fact that they are recognising that women geeks have a strong place in pop culture and various fandoms. Each box features a woman-run small business, this is a great way to support your fellow geek lady!
