Once I had chosen my graphic, and color – you can choose full color, gold or silver, I had to decide what I wanted the bottle to say. This is pretty much endless, as it is totally up to you on how to personalize it with the perfect message. Once I had chosen everything I wanted to make this a true keepsake, I just had to wait for it to arrive, which wasn’t long at all. Bottles can be delivered within 3 days, and ship through UPS ground from Southern California. If you are like some of us who wait until the last minute to buy gifts, this is perfect!
When the package arrived, I was impressed by the packaging. Since it is a full glass bottle of wine, Etching Expressions makes sure to ship it in a protective container as you can see in the picture below;
When I opened the box and container, I was really surprised at how great the bottle turned out, and seeing my personalized message and knowing how my recipients are going to love it, just made me smile. The graphic and etching is just so vivid, and colors just pop!

What is an etching?
An etching is sand carving, similar to sand blasting but with significantly more detail. One of the key differences between etching and laser engraving or silk screening is the fact that the design is literally carved into the glass of the bottle. This leaves a textured deep-etched recess, the contrasts of which leave a rich, endearing impression that may be hand-painted to create a phenomenal work of art.
How is my bottle personalized?
The process of creating your one-of-a-kind gift starts with the selection of a great wine and an outstanding design. We have a great selection of standard designs which are included in our standard pricing model. Each bottle includes ample space to include a personal message. Up to four lines of text depending upon the design. For the people that have a specific image and/or design in mind, we offer fully customized designs as well. Your personalized text makes your selections truly unique and memorable.
Tell me about the wine?
We can source just about any bottle of wine, including your favorite. Our standard wine option is one of our private label selections. These include carefully selected choices of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, chardonnay, champagne and non-alcoholic sparkling grape juice. These private label options are all carefully selected for flavor and value, so you can be assured youʼre getting a great wine at a terrific value. In actuality, we find that most recipients of custom etched bottles value the bottle so much the wine is not even consumed.
Can you do custom jobs?
Yes, we can etching just about anything on a bottle. We can do corporate logos, special designs and even photographs. Corporate bottles are especially popular as a way to
