Celebrate Halloween with your furry family members and Big Heart!
Check out Big Heart Pet Hub Page and get Tips and Tricks on keeping your pet safe on Halloween like the following;
- Watch The Door -You might want to keep Fido at home during Halloween for trick-or-treating. Many dogs become excited and uncontrollable, and if they’re scared they may bite. Also, when you’re at home make sure your pup doesn’t dart outside during the commotion of giving treats to the humans.
- NO CHOCOLATE! – Did you know that chocolate in all its forms is dangerous to dogs (and cats)? So, that means keep your goodies for yourself and no sharing with Fido! We have plenty of other treats to keep your pup happy and ready to scare the night away with you. Credit: ASPCA.org
- Keep Your Pet on a Leash – If you plan to take your pup out for Halloween dressed in their best and most adorable costume, plan on having them on a leash the entire time. Your dog might be surrounded with humans he’s not familiar with and it’s best to keep them within eyesight the entire night.

While there, please take a look at some cute DIY crafts you can make for your pets using household items like the Halloween themed dog treat holder or the edible treat bowl. A super cute idea would be to make treat bags containing your pets favorite snacks like Milk Bone, Milo’s Kitchen or Pup-Peroni and hand them out to your friends who have pets. Pets can trick-or-treat too!
