Review | Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness – Own it on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD July 26

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is Coming Home

Now on digital and coming very soon to 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on July 26. This is your chance to own this crazy ride and watch it over and over. Seriously, I will need to watch it a few times more. This was unlike any Marvel film I have watched in the past, there were so many twists and turns and not t mention portals, that it was easy to get lost a little. Luckily for me, my Marvel super fans (my husband and boys) were here to help me.

Our Thoughts

The latest film in the sprawling Marvel Cinematic Universe, or Multiverse now, brings back Dr. Stephen Strange, Wanda, aka The Scarlet Witch, and Wong in a larger-than-life story. The Scarlet Witch is on a mission to get her boys back and will cross into the multiverse to do it with the help of newcomer America Chavez’s power to travel the multiverse at will. This movie is in line with other movies in the MCU, it’s got action, comedy, drama, and great special effects along with some great surprise cameos.

This entry in the MCU does require some homework before watching it otherwise you may be a bit confused. If you haven’t watched the series WandaVision, you will not get the full impact of Wanda’s journey through this story. While the other MCU series, Loki introduced us to the multiverse, it’s not something that you need to watch to get the full impact.

I will say that according to my Marvel fans, this one was a lot darker than previous installments due to the fact that Sam Rami had a hand in it. I didn’t find it that dark, but it probably will be for younger children and newcomers.

Mykl Ranere

Described as a “psychedelic mind-flip masterpiece” (Larry Carroll, Looper) Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has enthralled audiences and critics around the world. Sam Raimi’s exuberant film is a global phenomenon and “undoubtedly mesmerizing” (Jenna Anderson, ComicBook.com).

Now you can witness the mind-bending alternate realities of the multiverse when Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness debuts on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on July 26. Embrace the madness by adding the latest MCU film to your Marvel movie collection.
