Last week I had the pleasure of meeting the fabulous people of Cloud b at The Big Toy Books Sweet Suite event in Chicago. I immediately fell in love with all of their products, but gravitated towards the Tranquil Turtle for a couple of reasons. The first, well it is super cute, as are all of the Cloud b products, second, it reminded me of my Mom. You see, she loved turtles and would collect them, and this one reminded me of a lamp she had that lit up and was shaped like a turtle. If she were alive today, I would totally give her Tranquil Turtle and she would have loved it!

It also reminded me of my oldest son, he is 15 now, so a Tranquil Turtle wouldn’t go over so well, but there was a time he loved turtles and would have loved to have had this in his room. I suppose he developed that love from his Mom Mom.

I am lucky enough to have several infant great nieces and nephews who I know will just love this.  Heck, I love it so I know they will too.

My one great-nephew is a newborn, where the other is almost two. Tranquil Turtle is great for both of them, and even for children who are older.  I know when I was little I always wanted my night-light on even as I got older. A lot of children are scared of the dark, and I think that this product is perfect. Not only does it provide light and sound, it will keep them focused so they don’t worry about the things that go bump in the night.
