Wisk – Fighting Stains “Then” and “Now”

Living in a  house with 3 boys, hubby included, I have become the Queen of stain fighters! Well, the Queen of “trying” to fight the stains! I swear that they have some stains on their clothes that I can’t even identify – I’ll just chalk that up to having special boy powers 😉

I remember my Mom, always pre-treating stains by using homemade concoctions of baking soda and water and rubbing it all over the stain in hopes it would release it. She even let the clothes sit over night for some of the harder to get out stains, mainly grass and food stains. I wasn’t a tomboy but my sister was and she played just like one of the boys so a lot of her clothes were ruined.

I also remember my Mom using Wisk laundry detergent after numerous attempts at trying to remove stubborn stains with her homemade concoctions – here’s a walk down memory lane, do you remember this commercial?

Sing it with me “Ring around the collar!” – I remember singing that around the house and totally driving my Mom nuts, lol!

Now with kids of my own, I can totally relate to how my Mom must have felt trying to tackle stains that kids have a knack for acquiring. I suppose I tackle most of the same stains my mother did when I was a child; grass, food, paint, markers, etc. And just like my Mother before me, I can fight them with Wisk.

Wisk now has a new look  and a new powerful formula that fight stains better than ever before. For the past 50 years Mom’s have relied on Wisk to not only get rid of “ring around the collar,” but to get rid of all the nasty stains that pop up in life.

Wisk now has an upgraded formula featuring Stain Spectrum™ Technology. Wisk’s enzymes and cleaning agents target the full range of stains on a molecular level for a powerful clean, something that every Mom needs in her cleaning arsenal.  New Wisk® with Stain Spectrum™ Technology has been specially engineered to target the three major stain groups:

  • Carbohydrates such as milk chocolate
  • Proteins such as grass
  • Oils such as peanut butter

Other stain groups include:

  • Bio such as blood
  • Bleachable such as coffee
  • Particulate such as dirt
  • Synthetic such as ink

Check out the new Wisk teaser commercial:

New Wisk Stain Spectrum™ Technology is now available at major retailers nationwide, such as Walmart, Target and Kroger. Each 50 fl oz. bright red bottle cleans 32 loads and retails for a suggested $5.99.

To learn more about the Wisk’s Stain Spectrum™ Technology, and to download a coupon for $1 off, visit Wisk.com. You can also visit Wisk on Facebook and join in on the stain fighting conversations!

Disclosure:  I was given financial compensation from One2One Network to write about the New Wisk campaign in a series of posts. My reviews and recommendations are always my own and represent my genuinely held opinions.
