If you are like most parents, figuring out what’s for dinner is a daily chore. I don’t know about you, but I hate hearing “what’s for dinner?” Even though I work from home, there are still days that I am so busy that I need something quick and easy. This is where Jimmy Dean fully cooked sausage crumbles comes to the rescue!
The last time I went to the grocery store, I picked up a few pizza shells, those that come with the fixins already in the package. My family isn’t what you call super adventurous with pizza toppings, so we normally do just cheese, but since I always have a bag of the Jimmy Dean sausage crumbles on hand, I added them to the mix to spice things up.
I highly suggest grabbing a few bags of the sausage crumbles when you are at the store, there are a million different ways you can use them and they also come in Turkey and Hot & Spicy.
I start by unwrapping the pizza shell, and adding the sauce. I bought extra sauce since this is the way my family likes it. You could easily do a white sauce with this recipe as well.
Next comes the mozzarella cheese, lots of cheese. We added extra. because who doesn’t love lots of cheese? 🙂
and finally, the Jimmy Dean Sausage Crumbles
Of course, you can add all of your favorite toppings and make it to your liking, but once you see how fast this cooks up, you will be having Jimmy Dean Sausage Crumbles Pizza night at least once a week!
Place in the oven per the package instructions, this one took 10 minutes at 475 degrees. Then viola! You have a quick and easy sausage pizza for dinner!
