Now that Spring has finally arrived, my entire household, even down to the dog, are all suffering from allergies. They were so bad with my husband and the boys that we had to take trip to the Doctor to get them under control.
That go me thinking about the ways we prepare our household to help combat the allergens and keep us as allergy-free as we can get. Along with keeping the windows closed so that pollen doesn’t make itself at home inside our home, we also use a hepa-filter to reduce the allergens that are already inside.
Another great tip is to use a Neti-Pot to flush out the allergens, along with some eye drops to do the same.
My number one way to help reduce the allergen is in my wash. It is important to wash your clothes and even your household bedding, throw rugs, and other washable items often since they probably contain many of the allergens causing you issues.
If you are like most people who suffer from allergies, buying laundry detergent can be super tricky, you could end up being allergic to the detergent and that is no fun, believe me, I was just in that boat recently and it was miserable.
