A few week ago I was in Chicago with my best blogging buddies and had the opportunity to attend some amazing parties. One party in particular, The Big Toy Book’s #SweetSuite13 withCohosts: Joey Fortman from www.RealMomMedia.com & Charlene DeLoach from www.CharleneChronicles.com, was one that I had wanted to attend for a few years now. Every year I would watch the Twitter frenzy of people who were attending and just dreamed of one day attending…….this year it finally came true!
Walking in to the venue was amazing, two floors of brands peppered along the walkways and down the stairs, I was in heaven, toy heaven! I may be 42, but seeing all the toys in one place made me feel like a kid again. I was so excited to meet the brands behind some of these innovative toys and was even happier to see some of my childhood toys like Spirograph, Cabbage Patch kids, and Smurfs!
I just dove in, and started talking to every single brand at every single booth!
If that wasn’t fantastic enough, a few days after returning home I received a Swag Box in the mail from the vendors at the #SweetSuite13!
My son has been playing non-stop with the Tagamoto set. It has a little track that you place codes on via stickers and when the car drives over them it reads the codes and does things like turn on its lights, its radio, etc. Very Cool!
Stay tuned to learn about some of the toys from the #SweetSuite13, I am honored to be working with some of the brands and offering future giveaways.
I can’t wait to go again next year!
I hear that “I love toys at any age” – I am the same, and even though my boys are getting older, I have wee little great nieces and nephews that allow me to keep tabs on all the latest 🙂
Wow, this sounds so amazing! 😀 And I personally would claim that box filled with goodies as mine and share it with my son, hehehe.
